Just in case you've been hiding under a rock recently....Valve have announced Countersytrike: Global Offensive to be released early next year.

The good news is it will be on all 3 major platforms, just have to wait and see if it has cross platform play as with Portal 2....

It looks like they have taken a few hints from COD MW2 like customisable weapons, but also added new features such as 8 man squads. The graphics are also slightly smoother and the animations crisper.
