It looks like they have taken a few hints from COD MW2 like customisable weapons, but also added new features such as 8 man squads. The graphics are also slightly smoother and the animations crisper.

Counterstrike: Source updated rumoured!

Counter-Strike Source Logo (for Dark Backgrounds)

Lat last year, I had a message to join a protest group on Steam to petition for CS2 to be developed by Valve. I signed up, posted a message, then forgot about it.

According to CS Nation, the petition is gathering pace. There's now an official website, which lists all the press the campaign has been getting. With this much media attention, it's only a matter of time before Valve respond. The official CS2 petition site is here: Counterstrikepetition.com

But hidden away at the bottom of the CS Nation article is this little gem of news:

However, keep in mind that it is rumored that a huge update is in the works at Valve for Counter-Strike: Source. This update, among other things, looks to bring CS: Source on to the most recent version of Source that was introduced in Left 4 Dead 2.

So we could be seeing a sweet update for CS:S! Keep an eye on the news pages!

Aliens Versus Predator pre-ordering...

The latest AVP game is now available to pre-order on Steam for £24.99, even cheaper than MW2 Wink

The first game was a very atmospheric shooter, allowing you to play as all 3 races. This game looks to be an update of the great original, most importantly adding some very nice graphics.

You can buy the game here. There will be multiplayer support, so hopefully a few of us can get the game and play a few online matches.
